  • Enter new Time in Military - HHMM
        - i.e. - 0800 = 8:00am, 1300 = 1:00pm
    -or- for Date enter MMDD
        - i.e. 0101 for Jan 1st

  • Note - If you have an Avaya VS Voice Mail,

These Speed Dials can only be accessable from YOUR Extension.

  • With the Handset in the cradel...
  • Dial FEATURE 00
    Screen should read - Program Ext ("yours")
  • Dial FEATURE and select a two digit code from 80 - 99
    ( This is the systems BIN number it uses to store your Speed Dial info )
  • Enter your number excatly the way you would dial it normally.
  • Repeat steps 2 and 3 for more numbers, or dial FEATURE 00 to save.
Use Personal Speed Dials
  • Press FEATURE and dial your two digit BIN number.

System Speed Dials

These Speed Dials are accessable from ALL Extensions,
and must be programmed by your Office Adminstrator from Extension 10 or 11 only.

  • With the Handset in the cradel...
  • Dial FEATURE 00
    Screen should read - Program Ext 10 or 11
  • Dial FEATURE and select a two digit code from 20 - 79
    (This is the systems BIN number, used to store your Speed Dial info)
    • If a number is assigned already to the code, the number appears on the display.
    • If no number is assigned to the code, a display shows - Blank
  • Enter your number. The information appears on your display.
  • At this point:
    • To program another System Speed Dial number, start from Step 3.
    • To program over an existing number, enter the new number after selecting the two-digit code.
    • To remove a System Speed Dial number, enter the numbers two-digit code and press MIC/HFAI once.
  • Press FEATURE 00 to save.
Use Personal Speed Dials
  • Press FEATURE and dial your two digit BIN number.


One Touch Speed Dials

These Speed Dials are asigned to any unused button on your telephone.
Programm these on a per phone basis.

  • With the Handset in the cradel...
  • Dial FEATURE 00
    Screen should read - Program Ext ("yours")
  • Press the button you wish to program as a Speed Dial.
    • If a number is assigned already to this button, the number appears on the display.
    • If no number is assigned to the code, a display shows - Blank
  • Enter your number excatly the way you would dial it normally.
  • Repeat steps 3 and 4 for more numbers, or dial FEATURE 00 to save and exit programming.

  • Dial two digits (00 - 59) for minutes

EXAMPLE = March 12, 2007 at 8:00am = 07, 03, 12, 08, 00

Press SPEAKER to end.

Time is now changed on all telephones. (woohoo!)

Programming Speed Dials


  • From the Attendant's Station
  • Press Intercom.
  • Dial *# 02.
  • Dial 01 to 99 to choose storage location.
  • Dial # to clear current entry.
  • Choose the line that is to be used:
    • Dial 90 for no line assignment
          - System will choose last line used or prime line.
    • -or- Dial 01 to 24 for lines 1–24.
    • -or- Dial 91 to 94 for line groups 1–4.
    • -or- Press Intercom for intercom line.
  • Dial the number to be stored - 32-digits maximum.
    • ...Press HOLD to store a pause (if required),
    • ...Press TAP to store flash (if required).
  • Press Trns/Conf to program a name:
  • Enter digits from the Letter Code Table.
            (page 95 of the Attendant's Guide ) .
    • A = 21, B=22, C=23, D=31, E=32, F=33, etc
    • -or- Press Trns/Conf again to leave name blank.
  • Press Trns/Conf to save the number and name.
  • Repeat above steps to store all speed dial numbers.

  • Keep the handset on the cradle.
  • Press the (Feature Key) and dial * * 8463 ( TIME )
  • Enter Password 23646 ( ADMIN ). - Present Time appears.
  • Press the button under the word CHANGE . Enter new time in Military Time .
  • Press the button under the word NEXT
        and change data for Minutes, Year, Month and Day.
  • Press the orange colored(Release) button.
    • This may take a few minutes to change on all phones,
      determining on your system type and size.
    • This also changes time on your Nortel Voicemail.

Any service call performed by Hicks Telecommunication, Inc.
will result with the original reported problem repaired,
or there will be no labor charge for the additional service calls,
applied to the customer.

This offer is not inclusive to additional hardware that may fail
or programming that may alter during the course of repairs,
due to age of or quality of equipment or cabling.
Service calls originating due to a lack of customers training,
or improper understanding of the capabilities or limitations
of their equipment, will not be covered by this offer.

Service calls requiring purchasing of additional hardware
or programming, before repairs can be properly implemented,
or labor that require authorization from the customer (verbal or otherwise) will be charged to the customer.
A trouble which is not present or can not be reproduced
at time of service call, is not covered by this offer.
This offer does not apply to service calls on equipment
which parts and or services are no longer available due to outdated,
or limited production.
If we cannot diagnose the problem within one hour,
we will wave the labor charge.

All service calls are subject to a $15.00 trip charge.
